Forestry Tasmania’s Special Timbers Strategy will set the framework for the management of special timbers for the next decade.
It’s therefore vital that stakeholders wishing to provide their input into the way in which the resource will be managed during this period take the opportunity provided by the public consultation period to make a formal submission.
Stakeholders are reminded that the public consultation period ends at close of business, Monday 31 August.
Public submissions will inform the final draft of the strategy, which is due for release in December this year.
Applications for public comment have now closed.
