Eucalyptus barberi
Barbers Gum
Barbers Gum is one of the rarest Tasmanian and Australian Eucalypts. The wild population is confined to a very small area on the east coast of Tasmania and consists of less than 150 individuals. It grows in a mallee form making it very suitable for garden/windbreak/shelter use. It is a prolific flowerer with bright green drooping leaves. It is drought tolerant and survives well on very poor soils.
