Road Closures

Carnac Road (off Cascade Road)
A bridge has been washed out on Carnac Road, which is closed until further notice. The road is blocked at either end at junctions with Mount Paris Dam Road.

'M' Road south of St Marys
Bridge damage on the M Road has necessitated its closure between the Valley Road turn-off and the Tasman Highway near St Marys. Alternate access to M Road from north is available via Valley Road off the Esk Main Road near Fingal.

South Arthur Forest Drive closed until further notice.
Due to the wild weather over the past few days, Forestry Tasmania has closed the South Arthur Forest Drive to the public from Sumac Lookout.
Trees fallen across the drive have are currently being removed and Forestry Tasmania aims to the have the road re-opened within 7 days.

Robertsons Bridge (Wielangta Road)
As the result of an engineering assessment, Gunns Limited have now closed Robertsons Bridge on Wielangta Road
Temporary signage has been erected at each end of Wielangta Road, as well as road
barriers erected at the bridge on the southern end, and at Blue Gum Spur
on the northern side. Both areas have adequate area to enable vehicles to
turn around.

East Picton Road
Access on the East Picton is being controlled for safety reasons during a harvesting operations on the from Mondays to Friday inclusive. The controlled access on the East Picton will operate indefinitely at this stage.
